De QUEEN, Ark.—Elbie Kirkman Cannon Sr., 76, of De Queen died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at his home. Mr. Cannon was born Jan. 14, 1942, in Cooper, Texas. Survivors include three daughters, Tammy Arneson of Stephenville, Texas, Debbie Harris of Greenville, Miss., and Laura Lange of Katy, Texas; two sons, Elbie Kirkman Jr. of Covington, La., and Anthony Cannon of Hot Springs, Ark.; five brothers, Ray Cannon of Wickes, Ark., Don Cannon of Alvarado, Texas, Cecil Cannon of Texas, Kenneth Cannon of Midlothian, Texas, and Bruce Cannon of Atoka, Okla.; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Chandler Funeral Home with Russell McNeeley officiating. Burial will be in Daniel Cemetery, Wickes. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
