Our loving mother, Rosemary Tollett Longnecker, age 70, of Texarkana, Arkansas, left this life on March 1, 2018, to be with our Heavenly Father. Rose-mary was born June 25, 1947, in Nashville, Arkansas. She was a 1965 graduate of Nashville High School and attended Texarkana College. She was a faithful member of Walnut Church of Christ where she taught cradle roll and pre-school for several years. She was employed with the Texarkana Arkansas School District as a special education paraprofessional. Rosemary had an undeniable love and concern for special needs children. She is preceded in death by her father Jimmy Tollett and mother Mary Lucille Jamison Tollett. Survivors include Tommy Dale Longnecker, her husband of 50 years; two sons and one daughter-n-law, Shawn and Brenda Longnecker of Mansfield, Texas, and Jeremy Longnecker of Texarkana; two daughters and sons-n-law, Jolie and Derek Koller of Texarkana and Linzi and Ben Wallis of Nashville, Arkansas; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Saundra and Webb Stanley of Texarkana, Texas, Betty and Bobby Trieschmann, Suzanne and Mark Weir of Texarkana, Arkansas, and one brother and sister-n-law, Dave and Betty Tollett of Benton, Arkansas; nine precious grandchildren, Eric and Alex Longnecker, Tristen, Hayden, Adison, and Jaxon Koller, and Ellison Rose, Emory, and Eden Wallis; a special friend, Jean Martin; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Rosemary was a devoted Christian wife, mother, Nana, sister, aunt, great-aunt, cousin, and friend. She was strong (mentally and physically), selfless, patient, and a peacemaker. She answered to many names such as Mama, Nonna, Sister, Aunt Rosie, and MaryRose just to name a few. Our mother will live in our hearts forever as we strive to meet her again in heaven. Proverbs 31:29-30 "Many daughters have done well, but you excel them all. Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised." NKJV. Funeral services will be at 1:00 P. M. Monday at Walnut Church of Christ with Patrick Cannon officiating. Private burial will be in Nashville, Arkansas under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 PM until 4 PM Sunday. Memorials may be made to the Children's Home, 603 Date St., Paragould, AR 72450 or the Christian Preschool of Walnut Church of Christ, 2720 Moores Lane, Texarkana, TX 75503. The family will be at the home of Suzanne Weir, 3 Wade Trail, Texarkana, Arkansas.
