CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Jo Ann Stinson West, 69, of Bogata, Texas, died Sunday, March 4, 2018, at her home. Mrs. West was born June 25, 1948, in Avery, Texas. She was a country music recording artist. She was preceded in death by one son, Joe Edward West. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Tony Lynn and Margaret West of Bogata; two daughters and one son-in-law, Rhonda Renee West and Stephanie and Jimmy Simpler of Hughes Springs, Texas; one sister, Mary Stinson Shipp of Texarkana; one brother, Jimmy Lynn Stinson of Dallas; 15 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Clarksville Funeral Home with Wes Walters officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery. Online registration is at clarksvillefuneralhome.com.
