MAGNOLIA, Ark.—Emma Lean Sims, 67, of Buckner, Ark., died Thursday, March 1, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Sims was born June 4, 1950, in Waldo, Ark. She was formerly employed with Shanhouse Manu-factures, Hope, Alan White, Stamps, Ark., and Lafayette County Library, Lewisville, Ark., and a Sunday School teacher and member of Clevet Spring Baptist Church, Falcon, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey "Buddy Boy" Sims. Survivors include one daughter, Yulonda Sims of Falcon; one son, Harvey Alexander Sims Jr. of Falcon; seven sisters, Ella Maeweather, Jessie Sanders, Edna Adams, Donnie Henderson, Ida Sanders, Tavitha Wooten and Rhonda Brooks; three brothers, Prentis Sanders, Lonnie Sanders and Timothy Sanders; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at R.L. Reed Funeral Home. Burial will be in Clevet Springs Cemetery, Falcon. Visitation will be noon to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
