NORATEE JOHNSON JR.

Noratee "Byrd" Johnson Jr., 46, of Texarkana, Texas, died Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, in Texarkana. Mr. Johnson was born March 22, 1971, in Springhill, La. He was a maintenance worker with the Texarkana, Texas Housing Authority. Survivors include his wife, Benita Johnson of Texarkana; one son, Javon Butler of Texarkana; two daughters, Brityni Robinson of Texarkana and Norteisha Johnson of Hope, Ark.; two sisters, Leatha Johnson Scott and Brenda Hogan of Plain Dealing, La.; three brothers, Ricky Hogan of Plain Dealing, Terry Hogan of the United Kingdom and Lewis Richardson of Texarkana; one granddaughter, Mattison Robinson of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Greater Shiloh COGIC with Katrene Hillery and Elder James A. Tudman officiating. Burial will be in Caldwell Cemetery, Plain Dealing, under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary. Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
