David Wayne Easley, 72, of Fouke, Ark., died Friday, March 9, 2018, at his home. Mr. Easley was born Sept. 23, 1945, in Texarkana, Ark. He was retired owner of Double E Logging, formerly employed with Cooper Tire and Rubber Co., a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and an Arkansas National Guard veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Easley; and one daughter, Amanda Gail Easley. Survivors include his wife, Peggy Scroggins Easley of Fouke; two sons, Wayne Easley and Bo Easley of Fouke; one daughter, Melissa Champion of Daytona, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Linnie Steinberg of Texarkana; one stepson, Lynn Pressnell of Texarkana; four sisters, Elizabeth Randall and Mary Catherine Smith of Texarkana, Carolyn Gaston of Destin, Fla., and Sharon Bryant of Dallas; two brothers, Gary Easley of Hooks, Texas, and Jerry Easley of Texarkana; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Rev. Jeff Odom officiating. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery.
