Renita Karen Johnson Foster, 63, of Texarkana, Ark., died Sunday, March 11, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Foster was born Oct. 1, 1954, in West Virginia. She was retired from the Arkansas Department of Health and was a member of Shiloh Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, John Foster of Texarkana; one daughter, Christie Wells of Texarkana; one son and daughter-in-law, Troy and Nicki Wells of Texarkana; two stepdaughters and spouses, Shanan and Dean Snellings of Lindale, Texas, and Shawn and Chad Abernathy of Bossier City, La.; two sisters, Mary Ann Green of Texarkana and Brenda Stone of Mena, Ark.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Shiloh Baptist Church with the Rev. Todd Reed officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
