ARNOLD BOWEN

NASHVILLE, Ark.—Arnold Bowen, 90, of Murfreesboro, Ark., died Friday, March 16, 2018, in Texarkana, Texas. Mr. Bowen was born Nov. 8, 1927, in Delight, Ark. He was a member of First Christian Church, Nashville, and an Army and Coast Guard veteran. He was preceded in death by two sons, William Bowen and Glenn Bowen. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda and Wayne Nelson of Hooks, Texas, and Lisa and Jeff Browne of Harrison, Ind.; three grandchildren, Kelly Paul, Brad Dyer and Matthew Browne; three great-grandchildren, Jordyn Zymbroy, Morgan Zymbroy and Kaysen Paul; and one great-great-grandchild. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Bowen Community Church with Benny Blount officiating. Burial will be in Bowen Cemetery under the direction of Latimer Funeral Home.
