WILLIAM HAWKINS

Mr. William Lynn Hawkins, 81, of Texarkana, Ark., died Monday, March 19, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mr. Hawkins was born Oct. 11, 1936, in Fouke, Ark. He was a truck driver and a member of Masonic Lodge No. 593. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ellen Hawkins; one daughter, Vonni Gundolf; and one granddaughter, Deborah Tilley. Survivors include four daughters and three sons-in-law, Lori Redfearn, Lisa and Dickie Leigh and Lana and Stan Bailey of Texarkana, Ark., and Leah and Jason McMunn of Texarkana, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Lucille Hawkins of Texarkana, Texas; seven grandsons; and three great-grandchildren. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas, with the Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be in Shiloh Cemetery.
