LARRY EVANS

Larry Joe Evans, 65, of Texarkana, died Thursday, March 22, 2018, at his home after a lengthy illness. Mr. Evans was born May 1, 1952, in Texarkana, Texas. He was employed with Super 1 Foods. He was preceded in death by one granddaughter, T'Lynn Evans. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Evans; two sons and daughters-in-law, Timothy and Tiffany Evans of Alvin, Texas, and Shawn and Jennifer Evans of Texarkana; his mother, Mary Nell Evans; one brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Suzanne Evans of Lake Charles, La.; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Jason Calhoun officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. today at the funeral home.
