JAMES McENTIRE

James Allen McEntire, 74, of Red Lick, Texas, died Friday, March 23, 2018, in a local hospice. Mr. McEntire was born Jan. 13, 1944, in Red Lick. He was a master plumber, a retired bailiff with Bowie County Court System and a Christian. Survivors include his wife, Retha McEntire of Red Lick; two sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Kim McEntire of Simms, Texas, and Spencer and Dawn Russ of Red Lick; one daughter, Alisha Russ of Red Lick; three brothers; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Aaron Crawford officiating. Burial will be in Red Lick Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Texarkana, 2407 Galleria Oaks Drive, Texarkana, TX 75503.
