BEN SHADDIX

ATLANTA, Texas—Ben Shaddix, 35, of New Boston, Texas, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, in a Texarkana, Texas hospital. Mr. Shaddix was born Nov. 9, 1982, in Mount Pleasant, Texas. He was employed with Red River Army Depot and a member of Savannah Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert "Bob" Shaddix. Survivors include his mother, Emma Jo Shaddix of New Boston; three brothers, Nat Shaddix of Arkadelphia, Ark., Shane Shaddix of Tomball, Texas, and Danny Shaddix of Monroe, La.; two sisters, Laurie McCord of Naples, Texas, and Katrina Smith of Tyler, Texas; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be noon April 14 at Savannah Baptist Church. Local arrangements are under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
