JIMMIE HAWKINS

Jimmie Iola Hawkins, 84, of Texarkana died Tuesday, March 20, 2018, in a local hospital. Mrs. Hawkins was born Aug. 4, 1933, in McKamie, Ark. She was a retired caregiver. Survivors include two stepsons and stepdaughters-in-law, Pleaz A. Jr. and Frances Hawkins of Topeka, Kan., and Donald and Mandy Hawkins of Las Vegas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Garland and Wanda Sutton and Charles and Shirley Sutton of Texarkana; two sisters, Jerusha Jones and Mary Green of Texarkana; two grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at Sunset Baptist Church. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Haynes Mortuary.
