ROGER McVAY

Roger McVay, 82, of Burleson, Texas, died Saturday, March 24. Mr. McVay was born March 9, 1936, in De Queen, Ark. He was former owner of McVay Masonry Contractor and a deacon, teacher, Gideon and member of First Baptist Church, Moores Lane. He was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Mason McVay. Survivors include his wif, Doris McAdams McVay; one son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Tracey McVay; two daughters and one son-in-law, Beth and Mike Dymczenski and Sarah Klempnauer; one sister, Sue McVay Small; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church, Moores Lane, with the Rev. Kevin Myers officiating under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas. Visitation will follow services at the church.
