TERRY ROSE

James "Terry" Terrel Rose, 52, of Hooks, Texas, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018, in a Dallas hospital. Mr. Rose was born Aug. 1, 1965, in Texarkana, Texas. He was co-owner of New Southern Company, formerly employed with UPS, a baseball coach and umpire and a member of First United Methodist Church, Hooks. Survivors include his wife, Kelly Rose of Hooks; his parents, James and Blanchie Rose of Hooks; one brother, Jody Rose of Nash, Texas; his father-in-law, Kenneth Gray of Hooks; two brothers-in-law, Casey Gray and Doug Gray of Hooks; and three nephews, Kyle Rose, Nick Rose, and Dillon Gray. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Myrtle Springs Baptist Church, Hooks, with the Revs. Keith Ducroz, Les Colley and Roy Ford officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
