NEW BOSTON, Texas—Mary "Lucy" Hollowell, 73, of New Boston died Wednesday, March 28, 2018, in a local hospice. Ms. Hollowell was born Jan. 2, 1945, in Marshall, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church, New Boston. Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Sam Anderson of New Boston; three nephews and two spouses, Mark and Linda Brooks of Henderson, Texas, and Kirk and Shannon Brooks and Joel Brooks of New Boston; one niece, Kayla Ridgeway of New Boston; 10 greatnieces and greatnephews; 10 great-greatnieces and great-great-nephews; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Bates-Rolf Funeral Home with Dr. Frank Brooks and Rick Rothwell officiating. Burial will be in Ringwood Cemetery.
