ATLANTA, Texas—Garner "Poncho" Franklin Hodges, 62, of McLeod, Texas, died Friday, April 27, 2018, at his home. Mr. Hodges was born July 25, 1955, in Shreveport, La. He was a retired oilfield worker and a member of Champions Bible Church. Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Chastity Hodges Beck of Texarkana, Texas, Jamie Hodges and David Mitchell Fouse of Idabel, Okla., and Melissa Hodges and Justin Pease of San Diego, Calif.; one son and daughter-in-law, John and Naomi Hodges of Atlanta; one sister and brother-in-law, Georgetta Hodges and Michael Fagan of McLeod, Texas; special friend, David Lawson of Bivins, Texas; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Huffines Cemetery with Mark Hill officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
