ANNE BENBOW

Anne Harris Benbow, 85, of Texarkana, Texas, died Monday April 30, 2018. Mrs. Benbow was born Nov. 23, 1932, in Texarkana. She was a retired elementary school teacher and high school librarian, former member of First Christian Church, Longview, Texas, and a member of Central Christian Church. Survivors include her husband, Bobby J. Benbow; one daughter and son-in-law, Carol and Billy Jack Scribner of Howe, Texas; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Bryan and Sherry Benbow of Texarkana and Dr. Bryce and Tanya Benbow of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Dr. June Buhler of Tyler, Texas; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Central Christian Church with the Rev. Wes Byas officiating under direction of East Funeral Home, Moores Lane.
