Charles Cook Jr., 66, of Ashdown, Ark., died Sunday, April 29, 2018, in Ashdown. Mr. Cook was born Aug. 26, 1951, in Nashville, Ark. He was a laborer with Domtar Paper Mill. Survivors include two sons, Nichlos Bishop of Ashdown and Lance Bishop of Oklahoma City; his mother, Willie Mae Cook of Wilton, Ark.; four brothers, James Cook of Wilton, Ark., Leon Cook of Texarkana, Bobby Cook of Ashdown and Kenny Cook of Dallas; 11 sisters, Mamie Sue Brook of Compton, Calif., Vergie Williams, Nan Patton, Nancy Cook, Essie Cook, Brenda Sullivan and Barbara Radford of Ashdown, Janice Dancer of Texarkana, Margaret Scoggins and Sharon Cook of Wilton, Ark., and Sandra Campbell of Mineral Springs, Ark.; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church, Wilton, with the Rev. Jesse Miller officiating. Burial will be in Cooks Cemetery, Ashdown, under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary. Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the church.
