HOPE, Ark.—Helen JoElla Walker-Jordan, 80, of Prescott, Ark., died Friday, April 27, 2018, in Arkadelphia, Ark. Mrs. Walker-Jordan was born Sept. 2, 1937, in Boughton, Ark.She was retired from Firestone and a member of Macedonia Baptist Church, Boughton. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Freddie Block Jr. Survivors include five children, Petrolia Nedd and Willious E. Jordan of Texarkana, JoAnn Brown of Houston and Mary Jordan and Brian K. Jordan of Prescott; three siblings, Kaye A. Walker-Davis of Newport, Ark., Mary A. Walker-Hart of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Franklin C. Walker of LIttle Rock; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Macedonia Baptist Church, Prescott, with Lonnie Hughes officiating under direction of Hicks Funeral Home. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
