DeKALB, Texas—Dorothy Georgine "Jean" Gilbreath Henry, 91, of DeKalb died Sunday, April 29, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mrs. Henry was born Sept. 1, 1926, in Simms, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ollie Henry; and one daughter, Paula Henry McMillon. Survivors include one son, Douglas Henry of DeKalb; one daughter, Elaine Elmore of DeKalb; three grandsons, Brian Henry of New Braunfels, Texas, and David Elmore and Neal Elmore of Longmont, Colo.; four granddaughters, Melissa McMillon Baird of DeKalb, Sharon Henry of Austin, Rory Elmore of Geneva, Ill., and Jeana Henry of Denton, Texas; seven great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Hubbard Chapel Cemetery, DeKalb. Burial will be under direction of Bates Family Funeral Home.
