NEW BOSTON, Texas—Kathleen Emma Rugg, 97, of Hooks, Texas, died Monday, April 16, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Rugg was born Oct. 18, 1920, in London. She was a homemaker, a member of Land Army and a Jehovah Witness. She was preceded in death by her husband. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Dorothy and Rick Hughes of Hooks; one brother and sister-in-law, Stephen and Patricia Rugg of Dublin; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be today at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Hooks, under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home. Online registration is at batesrolffuneralhome.com.
