HOPE, Ark.—Sharnell Houston, 49, of Rancho Cordova, Calif., died Thursday, April 19, 2018, in California. Mrs. Houston was born Nov. 20, 1968. She was a member of Capital City Seventh Day Adventist Church. Survivors include her husband, Willie Houston of Rancho Cordova; two sons, Rodney Baker Jr. of Dallas and Anthony Baker of San Leandro, Calif.; two daughters, Breanna Baker and Rickayla Brown of Rancho Cordova; her mother and stepfather, Wilma and Michael Lafferty of Columbus, Ark.; one brother, Jason Johnson of York, Penn.; one grandson, King Anthony Baker of Oakland, Calif.; her grandmother, Marjorie Thomas of Columbus; and a number of other relatives. No services are scheduled at this time. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery, Blevins, Ark., under direction of Brandon's Mortuary. Visitation will be 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
