Texann Pree

HOPE, Ark.—Texann Ligans Pree, 89, of Lewisville, Ark., died Sunday, April 22, 2018. Mrs. Pree was born Dec. 12, 1928, in Hope. She was a retired cafeteria worker with Washington School and a member of St. James Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Sylvester Pree Sr.; one daughter, Rubye Morbley; one son, Rodney Pree; and one grandson, Marcus Pree. Survivors include one son, Sylvester Pree Jr.; two daughters, Dorothy Pree Martin and Lorane Pree Jones; one sister, Marzan Dafney of Venice, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, including Roderick Pree; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 1 p.m. today at Lonoke Baptist Church, Texarkana, Ark. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Texarkana, under direction of Hicks Funeral Home.
