Roy Edwin Whittle

Roy Edwin Whittle age 60 of New Boston, Texas passed away Saturday, May 5, 2018 in a local hospice facility. Mr. Whittle was born October 28, 1957 in Mt. Pleasant, Texas. He was retired from Red River Army Depot, Baptist and is preceded in death by his parents, Edith and J.W. Whittle and a sister, Edna Brandon. Survivors include 2 daughters, 3 grandchildren, one brother and sister in law, Hoyt and Cindy Whittle of New Boston, three nieces and nephews in law, Kelly and Brad Butler of New Boston, Texas, Kristy and Chris Cameron of Gilmer, Texas, Andreia Brandon of Atlanta, Georgia, two nephews and one niece in law, James Brandon of Atlanta Georgia, Thomas and Rene Brandon of Newnan, Georgia, 6 great nieces, two great nephews, one great great niece, a lifelong friend Tab Jones and a number of other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2018 in the Bates Rolf Chapel, New Boston with Bro. James Boyd Strain officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 A.M. before services.
