MARILYN GROVES

De QUEEN, Ark.—Marilyn Elaine Clay Groves, 78, of Memphis, Tenn., died Sunday, March 25, 2018. Mrs. Groves was born Feb. 1, 1940. She was a retired bookkeeper at Central Alabama Chapter 13 Bankruptcy District Ofce, Tuscaloosa, Ala. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ben Groves; and one son, Clay Groves. Survivors include one son, Don Groves of Germantown, Tenn.; two brothers, Alton Clay and Wayne Clay of Lockesburg, Ark.; one sister, Melba Gore of Texarkana, Ark.; four grandchildren, Joel Groves of St. Louis, Mo., Luke Groves of Clarksville, Tenn., Andy Groves of Germantown and David Groves of Naples, Italy; and nine great-grandchildren.
