Bobby Stone

Bobby Gene Stone, 87, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2018 in Longview, Texas. Mr. Stone was born to Ben and Vernice Stone on August 24, 1930 in Fannin County, Texas. Mr. Stone served his country in the Army. He later went on to graduate business school and was employed by custom upholstery, Eastman Kodak. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Longview. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bobbie Jean; son Michael, wife Hazel. He is survived by brother Tal and Pat Stone; sons, Jim Stone, Stanley and Carol Stone; grandchildren, Sean Stone, Tiffany Stone, Dallas and Whitnee Stone, Ryan and Hannah Crider; and four great grandchildren. A funeral service will take place on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 beginning at 10 AM at First United Methodist Church in Longview. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a time of visitation at Rader Funeral Home in Longview from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, May 8, 2018. A memorial guestbook may be signed at www.raderfh.com.
