Elvie Jones

Elvie Amblene Jones, 82, of Hooks, Texas, died Monday, May 7, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Jones was born July 2, 1935, in DeWitt, Ark. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Wake Village, Texas. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Ronnie and Jill Jones of Hooks; two grandsons and one granddaughter-in-law, Derek and Cara Jones and Kyle Jones of Hooks; and three great-grandchildren, Jordyn Jones, Jaxsen Jones and Adelynn Jones of Hooks. Graveside service will be 11 a.m. Friday at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Burial will be under direction of East Funeral Home, Moores Lane. Online registration is at eastfuneralhomes.com.
