DeKALB, Texas—Jimmie Joyce Taylor Lee, 79, of Avery, Texas, died Monday, May 14, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Lee was born June 27, 1938, in Mississippi. She was employed in home healthcare and a member of Lighthouse Full Gospel Church, Oak Grove, Texas. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Marie Guillory; and one stepdaughter, Davida Ann Leigh. Survivors include her husband, James Lee of Avery; one daughter, Carlotta Hill of Avery; one sister, Barbara Wages of Avery; 10 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Bates Family Funeral Home with Bobby Wages officiating. Burial will be in Avery Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
