Sherry Mathis

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Sherry Mathis, 67, of Avinger, Texas, died Monday, May 14, 2018. Mrs. Mathis was born Feb. 12, 1951. Survivors include her husband, Royce Mathis; one daughter, Millissa Perkins; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeremy and Janet Perkins; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Melba and Jack Fritts and Irene Cook; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at New Hope Cemetery. Burial will be under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home. Online registration is at reeder-davis.com.
