MILDRED BRINKLEY

HOPE, Ark.—Mildred Lucille Clayton Brinkley, 84, of Saratoga, Ark., died Tuesday, May 15, 2018, in Fulton, Ark., from injuries received in an automobile accident. Mrs. Brinkley was born Feb. 25, 1934, in Fouke, Ark. She was a homemaker and a Baptist. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Louis Clayton. Survivors include her husband, Joe Brinkley of Saratoga; two daughters, Kay Miles of Garrison, Texas, and Debbie Boyce of Saratoga; three sons, Paul Clayton of Hope, Ricky Clayton of Fulton and Jerry Clayton of Saratoga; four stepsons, Jim Brinkley of Haworth, Okla., Fred Brinkley of DeKalb, Texas, Kevin Brinkley of Florida and Calvin Brinley of Shinewell, Texas; one stepdaughter, Patty Jo Seagraves of Haworth; three sisters, Ovis George, Allene Williams and Helen Swint of Texarkana; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Yellow Creek Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Crane officiating. Burial will be under direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
