LITTLE ROCK—Lillian Merrit Delk Rorie, 93, died Friday, May 18, 2018. Mrs. Rorie was born Sept. 18, 1924, in Texarkana, Ark. She was a former secretary; past employee of First Federal Savings & Loan, Texarkana; and an emeritus member and past treasurer and corresponding secretary of Junior League of Texarkana. She was a change ringer and member of First Presbyterian Church, Texarkana, and Trinity Episcopal Catherdral, Little; a Master Gardener; and an Arkansas Arts Center volunteer. Mrs. Rorie was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Jean Earley Rorie; and one daughter, Anne Louise Rorie. Survivors include one daughter, Sarah Rorie Henry; three grandchildren, Elizabeth Henry McKeever, William Rorie Henry and Robert Merritt Henry; and one great-grandson, James Ellam McKeever. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Episcopal Catherdral. Burial will be at 3 p.m. in State Line Cemetery, Texarkana.
