Rosalie Oliver

DeKALB, Texas—Rosalie Russell Oliver, 73, of New Boston, Texas, died Saturday, May 19, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Oliver was born July 20, 1944, in Texarkana, Ark. She was the owner of Rosalie Oliver Bookkeeping Service, a member of First Baptist Church, New Boston, and served on the board of directors of 3 Bostons Museum. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy M. Oliver. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Anne and Scott Parrott of Indianapolis, Ind.; one son and daughter-in-law, Christopher and Vickie McIntyre of Arlington, Texas; two stepsons and a stepdaughter-in-law, Jim Oliver of Richmond, Ky., and Jay and Sonya Oliver of Texarkana; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Roger and Claire Russell of Houston, Texas, and David Russell of New Boston; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, New Boston, with Dr. Patrick Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Read Hill Cemetery under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home.
