LINDEN, Texas—Berton Jay Brewer, 52, of Linden died Saturday, May 19, 2018, at his home. Mr. Brewer was born Jan. 31, 1966, in Fort Knox, Ky. He was preceded in death by one grandchild, Macey Alvis. Survivors include his wife, Wanda Brewer of Linden; two daughters, MaryAnn Jordan of Texarkana, Texas, and Tania Greer of Atlanta, Texas; six brothers, Brian Brewer, Barry Brewer, Van Williams, Marq Williams, Marvin Williams and Michael Williams; two sisters, Lucy Barling and Heiu Thi Peeler; his stepmother, Sinh Thi Brewer; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Reeder-Davis Funeral Home with Michael Bedevian officiating. Burial will be in Wells Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
