MASON LANDRY

Mason James "Blackbeard" Landry, 72, of Texarkana, Texas, died Sunday, May 20, 2018. Mr. Landry was born Sept. 1, 1945, in Port Arthur, Texas. He was a retired long-haul truck driver and a member of Eylau Hills Baptist Church and Flower Acres Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Velma Bradley Landry of Texarkana; three daughters, Jessica Landry of Magnolia, Ark., Stacy Clubine of Texarkana, Belinda Vaclavicek of Valley Springs, Ark.; two sons, Richard Bradford of Texarkana and Mason James Landry II; three sisters, Clara Credeur of Port Arthur, Texas, Dora Jean Williams of Harrison, Ark., Dorothy Dale of Missouri; six grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Chapelwood Funeral Home with Johnny Murphy and Billy Luplow officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
