PRESCOTT, Ark.—Ruth Godwin Perry, 86, of Batesville, Ark., died Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Mrs. Perry was born Oct. 8, 1931, in St. Cloud, Fla. She was owner of The Fashion Shop, Prescott, a former teacher, a cattle rancher and a Christian. She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Perry. Survivors include two daughters, Tanya Perry Plunkett of Little Rock Ark., and Faye Perry Purtle of Batesville, Ark.; one sister, Katherine Godwin Koger of Prescott; two grandchildren, Dixie Lee Coe of Batesville and John David Coe of Wrightsville, Ark.; two great-grandchildren, Chloe Coe of Batesville and Gracie Coe of Maumelle, Ark., and a number of other relatives.
