Haze Hudson

Haze Allen Hudson, 79, of Texarkana, Ark., died Monday, May 21, 2018, in a local hospital. Mr. Hudson was born Feb. 18, 1939, in Texarkana. He was retired from Domtar, former Miller County Justice of the Peace, former director of Dixie Youth Baseball Association, former member of Texarkana, Ark., Board of Directors and a member of Miller County Water Authority and Beech Street First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Reta Batchelor Hudson; and one son, Brad Hudson. Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Shari and Kent Varner of Houston; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Barry Hudson of Independence, Mo., and Brian and Tricia Hudson of Texarkana; one sister, Bobbie McEntee of Texarkana; one brother, Charles Hudson of Lewisville, Ark.; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Beech Street First Baptist Church with the Revs. Richard Posey and Todd Reed officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas. Relatives will be at the family home, 2906 Grand Ave., Texarkana, Ark.
