DOYLE DUNCAN

CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Doyle Fred Duncan, 83, of Avery, Texas, died Friday, May 18, 2018, at his home. Mr. Duncan was born July 22, 1934, in Avery. He was retired from the Santa Fe Railway, a longhorn cattle rancher, and a member of Texas State Trap team and Avery United Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife, LaVerne Duncan; two children and spouses, Kathy Duncan and Peter Selph and Kevin and Ann Duncan; four grandchildren, Matthew Duncan-Selph, Sara Duncan-Selph, William S. Duncan and Alexis Duncan; one great-granddaughter, MacKenzie Rose Egan; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 10:30 a.m. June 2 at Avery United Methodist Church with the Rev.
