TONY MOODY

Anthony James "Tony" Moody, 53, of New Boston, Texas, died Thursday, May 24, 2018, at his home. Mr. Moody was born Dec. 1, 1964, in Marshall, Texas. He was formerly employed with Red River Army Depot and Texarkana, Arkansas Fire Department and a member of Myrtle Springs Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife, Deletha Brown Moody of New Boston, Texas; three sons, Kenny Hickerson, Timothy Hickerson and Todd Hickerson of New Boston; his mother, Ernestine Moody of Texarkana; one sister, Angela Moody of Texarkana; one nephew Josh Brown of New Boston; five grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chapelwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Charlie Elrod officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
