Frances Wellborn

DAINGERFIELD, Texas—Frances Starrett Wellborn, 91, of New Boston, Texas, died Monday, May 28, 2018, in Sulphur Springs, Texas. Mrs. Wellborn was born Jan. 26, 1927, in Reily Springs, Texas. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Daingerfield, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Wellborn; one son, Jimmy Wellborn; and one daughter, Brenda Richardson. Survivors include one son-in-law, Bruce Richardson and friend Crystal Roberts of New Boston; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Gayle and Jessie Starrett of Carrolton, Texas, and Doyle and Helen Starrett of Sulphur Springs, Texas; three grandchildren, Jamie Baird of Hughes Springs, Texas, Cindy Yokum of Daingerfield, Texas, and Wendy Marlang of Tunnel Hill, Ga.; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, Daingerfield, with Norman Crisp officiating. Burial will be in Daingerfield Cemetery under direction of Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
