DOROTHY EDWARDS

HUGHES SPRINGS, Texas—Dorothy Edwards, 79, of Hughes Springs died Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018. Mrs. Edwards was born April 2, 1939, in Houston. She was a former children's clothes and gifts store owner, a circuit board builder for Collins Radio, a clothes inspector, a homemaker and a Sunday School teacher and member of First Baptist Church, Hughes Springs. She was preceded in death by one son, Franklin D. "Frankie" Edwards. Survivors include her husband, Frank Edwards; one son, Michael Edwards of Tecumsah, Okla.; two daughters and one son-in-law, Kim and Robin Hall of Daingerfield, Texas, and Jennifer Jackson of Rock Hill, S.C.; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park under direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral home.
