Peggy Coburn

Peggy Coburn, 80, of Texarkana, Ark., died Nov. 2, 2018, at a local hospital. Mrs. Coburn was born April 28, 1938, in Hempstead County, Ark. She was a retired child caregiver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Denzil Coburn Sr.; and one son, Denzil Coburn Jr. Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Clay and Melissa Coburn of Texarkana; one daughter and son-in-law; Teresa and Frank Plummer; two sisters, Wanda Jackson of Texarkana and Nelda Jean of Indiana; 14 grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Tyrone Barfield officiating. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at East Funeral Home, Downtown.
