Carl Befeld

Carl Befeld, 78, of Ashdown, AR, passed away Monday, November 5, 2018 in Texarkana, TX. He was born January 20, 1940 in Houston, TX to Carl and Lois Befeld. He was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and served in the United States Navy. Survivors include his wife, Fern Befeld of Ashdown; one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Kim Befeld of Ashdown; one daughter and son-in-law, Karla and Ricky Settlemoir of Ashdown, several brothers and sisters; four grandchildren, Damien Befeld and Caleb Befeld, Ashley and Sean Jester, and Colton and Candice Settlemoir and three great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, November 8, 2018 from 6:00 8:00 at Madden Funeral Home in Ashdown. Services will be Friday, November 9, 2018 at 10:00 at the funeral home with Daniel Supler officiating. Interment to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
