ATLANTA, Texas—Mike Griswold, 70, of Atlanta died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018, in a Dallas, Texas, hospital. Mr. Griswold was born April 17, 1948, in Fort Worth, Texas. He was retired from Blackburn's Supercenter, a member of American Legion Post. 258 and Piney Grove Baptist Church, and a Vietnam War Army veteran. Survivors include his wife, Kay Griswold of Atlanta; one daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Pete Herrera of Rowlett, Texas; one son and daughter-in-law, Bobbie and Shellie Lee of Grandview, Texas; one brother and sister-in-law, Norvel and Jahn Crews of Wichita Falls, Texas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Peggy and Donnie Wylie of Waxahachie, Texas, and Bertha Hover of Weatherford, Texas; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Piney Grove Baptist Church with Tony Lawson officiating. Burial will be in Dallas National Cemetery under direction of Hanner Funeral Service.
