Christopher Houchin

Christopher Lee Houchin, 48, of Oklahoma City, passed away on November 1, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. He was born in Baytown, TX on August 20, 1970 to Doug and Helen (Parker) Houchin. Chris graduated from Putnam City High School in 1988. He married Melissa (Reed) Houchin on October 17, 1992. They have two children. Their daughter, Braley, 22, is an OSU graduate and presently in a radiology program, and son, Drew, 18, is in the US Army. Chris loved fishing and camping, football tailgating, and entertaining, but most of all he loved Jesus and remained faithful and positive throughout his journey. In addition to his parents, wife, and children, he is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Jeremy and Kelly Houchin, and niece, Madison of Edmond, OK, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Shanna and Jason Norment, and nephew, Lucas of Texarkana, AR, mother-in-law, Liz Reed of Texarkana, TX and numerous other family members and friends. There will be a tailgate party to celebrate Chris on Saturday, November 10th at 11:00a at the Harn Homestead 1721 N. Lincoln Blvd OKC. Feel free to come and go or stay and play.
