NAOMI SLATTON

HOPE, Ark.—Naomi Roberta Nivens Slatton, 95, formerly of Blevins, Ark., died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018. Mrs. Slatton was born May 12, 1923. She was a retired phone company employee, a charter member of Park Hill Baptist Church and a member of Texas Women's Defense Corps. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carolyn Moore. Survivors include two sisters, Bobbye Calhoon and Ruby Brown; two grandchildren and spouses, Ashley and Douglas Robbins and Austin and Michelle Moore; one cousin, Patricia Nesbit Andrews; six great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Brazzel/Oakcrest Funeral Home. Burial will be in Betty Nivens Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, and following services at Marlbrook Baptist Church, Blevins. Online registration is at brazzelfuneralhomes.com.
