REX MARTIN

QUEEN CITY, Texas—Rex Earl Martin, 91, of Atlanta, Texas, died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2018, in a local nursing home. Mr. Martin was born Feb. 9, 1927. He was a World War II Navy veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Donna Martin. Survivors include two sons, Ron Martin of McKinleyville, Calif., and David Martin of Queen City; three daughters, Diane Fowler of Atlanta, Deena Martin of Washougal, Wash., and Debra Olson of Queen City; two brothers, Clarence Martin of Sacramento, Calif., and Horace Evans of Caruthers, Calif.; one sister, Anna Mooney of California; and a number of other relatives. Military burial will be held at a later date. Cremation is under direction of Queen City Funeral Home. Online registration is at queencityfuneralhome.com.
