NAPLES, Texas—Rosie Mae Whetstone, 52, of Atlanta, Texas, died Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018, in Texarkana, Texas. Ms. Whetstone was born Aug. 10, 1966, in Douglassville, Texas. Survivors include one son, Dmarcus Whetstone of Houston; two daughters, LaToya Whetstone of Tulsa, Okla., and Jasmine Whetstone of Atlanta; four sisters, Kathy Whetstone and Katie Whetstone of Atlanta, Lakesha Whetstone of Fulton, Ark., and Latorsha Lillard of Marietta, Texas; two brothers, Willie Whetstone and Edward Whetstone of Marietta; three grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Floyd Valley Church with the Rev. Collins officiating. Burial will be in Floyd Valley Cemetery, Marietta, under direction of Sasser Funeral Home. Visitation will be noon to 5 p.m. today at the funeral home.
