CLARKSVILLE, Texas—Lonnie Phelps, 65, of Bentonville, Ark., died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018. Mr. Phelps was born Jan. 12, 1953, in Red River County, Texas. He was employed with Benton County, Ark. He was preceded in death by his wife, Karen Phelps; and one daughter, Melissa Phelps. Survivors include one son, Jason Phelps of New York City; one stepson, Jason Brewer of Centerton, Ark.; two stepdaughters, Kristina Brewer of Centerton and Kateena Lee of Bentonville, Ark.; two sisters, Dorthey Crawford of Mesquite, Texas, and Vivian Yates of Terrell, Texas; two brothers, Lewis Joe Phelps and Leon Phelps of Mesquite; four grandchildren; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday at English Cemetery with Randy Ross officiating. Burial will be under direction of Clarksville Funeral Home.
