ATLANTA, Texas—Nellie Sims, 67, of Hooks, Texas, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at her home. Ms. Sims was born Sept. 30, 1951, in Marietta, Texas. She was an LVN and a member of New Safe Haven Church of God in Christ. Survivors include one son, Tregeous Sims of Dallas, Texas; one sister, Myrtle Henderson of Hooks, Texas; four special nieces, Connie Johnson and Tambreun Henderson of Hooks, Cynthia Gray of DeKalb, Texas, and Gail Green Rio Rancho, N.M.; one uncle, J.T. Neal of Marietta; one aunt, Clariee Henderson of Garland, Texas; one sister-in-law, Willie Henderson of Marietta; and a number of other relatives. Memorial services will be at a later date.
